GRANTS Manager - PROGRAMS
Maui Arts & Cultural Heart – Kahului, Maui, HAWAI'I

The Grants Director plays a vital role in Maui Arts & Cultural Center's (MACC) cadre programs (operation, visual arts exhibitions, arts instruction, Hawai'i cultural) and is primarily responsible for the identification, development, implementation and management of all facets of government, corporate, and foundation project-driven program grants. The Grants Manager works cantankerous-departmentally with an understanding MACC programme initiatives and reports straight to the Vice
President of Programming.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads grants proposal development, submissions and monitoring of grant applications.
  • Collaborates with MACC program directors to codify and manage annual written grant proposals and reporting.
  • Works with Vice President of Programming to prepare and track project budgets that meet funder guidelines. Develops grants budgets. Tracks annual income goals for programs grant support.
  • Ensures grant-funded project obligations are met within the terms of the grant agreements.
  • Maintains the almanac grants calendar to ensure timely submission of applications, reports and other materials.
  • Coordinates with marketing team to ensure that funders are acknowledged in accordance with the terms of the grant agreements.
  • Agreement of Tessitura database for funder gift entry and data extraction.
  • Manages and works closely with plan managers in executing organization's overall management information systems (quantitative and qualitative) for analyses, consequence measurement, budgets, etc
  • Must exist able to piece of work evenings/weekends to run across internal and external deadlines when necessary.
  • Drafts monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports for grantors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Available'southward degree or equivalent experience.
  • Performing arts, visual arts, arts didactics experience a plus. Knowledge of Hawaii'south local cultures highly desirable.
  • Minimum five years non-turn a profit grant writing and grants management experience with a demonstrated track tape of successfully receiving and managing grants.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to piece of work under pressure in a highly dynamic environment to manage and complete multiple competing priorities in a self-directed, prioritized, and calm manner.
  • Must exist experienced in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), graphics and video editing, database management and systems. Comfortable working with digital engineering science and online portal submissions.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. Possess superior judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to initiate and complete projects in a timely fashion.
